The thing you love the most about your work?

The potential it holds.Japan's EC penetration rate is still low compared to other countries, at around 10%, but it is expected to grow. The number of people purchasing goods online will continue to increase, and with advancements in spatial computing, even the experience of buying on PC and mobile will change. It is exciting to see how we, as a company specializing in EC, can offer so much value in such a market.

The thing you dislike the most about your work?

The difficulty in prioritizing. Our company is still small, with less than 50 employees, and we don't have infinite resources (people, things, money). There is no right answer to the question of how to allocate these limited resources, but it is essential to prioritize what we value. This allows the team to move forward, so as a leader, I try my best to clearly show our priorities.

I am feeling the gap between the expectations of my role as a manager and my own experience and abilities. I am still learning and adapting to my new position. It is indispensable.When I was 22 in 2011, I was struggling to find a job and took a gap year to travel as a backpacker. I had no connections, but through the internet, I was fortunate to meet many people in different places. The Nomad Project (http://nomadp.com), which I created during my travels, was my first website, and it led me to pursue a career in IT. I want to continue to be involved with the internet.

10YC (https://10yc.jp)It is a brand that makes clothes you want to wear even after 10 years, offering comfort that you don't find in fast fashion brands. I have bought so many pieces, I can't even remember how many. Previously, they used WooCommerce, but switching to Shopify significantly improved the purchase experience.
